In 2013- the outdoor BURNWATER show was a great success! Sold-out shows and beautiful weather helped to create an absolutely magical experience for the audience.

A site-specific work for percussion, dance, spoken word and sound sculpture in collaboration with Halifax-based Mocean Dance and Lohifi Productions. This unique outdoor art event was created on the beautiful property of Nova Scotia blacksmith and sculpture artist, John Little. The new 2016 Burnwater: Alchemy show was created with the original outdoor show as a point of inspiration.

What the audience had to say:

"What a wonderful experience!  We were in a reverie of magical sounds and movements - a semi dream state of beauty and contentment. What a celebration!"

"The event was wonderful, bringing to life stories, with acting, art, dance, music, in an intimate setting with the small audience, on your land. It was a great night. My mind is still full of the images."

"Congratulations all. Great story telling. Enjoyed every minute. A beautiful love story. Great art."

"Burnwater captured some of the most imaginative story-telling I have ever seen"

 And from singer/songwriter Laura Smith,

"Burnwater, the moveable feast served up as a choreographed soundscape using loving storytelling and the land we walked across as flavouring, caught me off guard with how stunningly original and heartfelt a production it was. From the outset, I was moved by the idea that I was 'in' a story, not just being told one."
